Yes. Each customer can have a credit limit, and their dues and payment record show while you make the memo.

Can I match the cash drawer with the books?

Yes. The day book works out what should be in the drawer from the day’s cash in and out; count it and any shortfall shows.

Is a cheque counted before it clears?
